KNO3 Robotics

Who we are

We're a team of four, based in Wilmington, Delaware. We're not tied to a school, so we came together on our own because we wanted to build robots. This is our third season competing in FIRST Tech Challenge.

We do all of it ourselves: the design, the building, the wiring, and the code. Nobody hands us a kit and a plan. That's the part we like.

FIRST at Sanford

Sanford School is where our team came together. We want robotics there to keep growing past just us, so we are working to start an FTC team at Sanford's middle school. We have been bringing our robot to show younger students, so they can see what they would be building toward.

The robot

Each season we get a new game and a few months to build something that can play it. We meet as a team and discuss what we would pursue for the season, make a prototype, and then refine from there.

This season

This year we're playing BIOBUZZ, the 2026 game and part of the FIRST CANOPY season. We design, build, and program a robot to compete in the annual game. We're learning fast and getting better every week.

Out in the field

Competition days, build sessions, and the outreach visits where we get to show other students what we're working on.

Sponsor us

We're looking for sponsors to support our team this season. We're a small community team, so sponsorship in any amount genuinely helps: parts, tools, travel, and entry costs add up.

As a sponsor, your name and logo go on our robot, and you get a spot on this page too.
